F27 Last day to defend thesis/dissertation for graduate students planning to graduate Summer 2029. Check with the graduate program director regarding internal schedules for submission of copy and school/college dean approval.
August 2029
F10 Final deadline to submit all materials for thesis/dissertation to the Graduate School, including the ETD form, upload of thesis/dissertation to VCU Scholars Compass, and Survey of Earned Doctorates (for Ph.D. students only).
F10 Summer sessions end
T14 Final grades are due by noon using Faculty eServices
Sa18 Official date for certifying August diplomas
